Privacy Policy

Effective date: August 8, 2026

THE GETOGETHER LLC (“THE GETOGETHER,” “TGT,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the website togetogether.com and related event-based social and dating services (the “Service”). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, when we share it, and the choices you have. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to the practices described here.

We are based in Atlanta, Georgia, United States. If you have questions, contact us at TGT@togetogether.com.

1. Who This Policy Applies To

The Service is intended only for individuals who are 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe someone under 18 is using the Service, please contact us at TGT@togetogether.com so we can take appropriate action.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information in three ways: information you give us, information created when you use the Service, and information from third parties.

Information you provide

Account information — such as your name, email address, date of birth, and password when you register.

Profile information — such as photos, gender, interests, lifestyle details, location (city/area), and the compatibility questionnaire responses used by our matching features. Some of this may be considered sensitive information; you provide it voluntarily and consent to our use of it as described here.

Content — messages, photos, and other material you post or send through the Service.

Event information — RSVPs, ticket purchases, and details related to in-person TGT events you sign up for or attend.

Payment information — when you purchase a membership tier or event ticket, payment is processed by our third-party payment processor (Stripe). We do not store your full card number; we receive limited transaction details such as amount, date, tier, and payment status.

Support and communications — information you share when you contact us for help or respond to surveys.

Information collected automatically

Usage data — how you interact with the Service, including logins, features used, pages viewed, and matching or messaging activity.

Device and technical data — IP address, device and browser type, operating system, and similar identifiers, including through cookies and similar technologies.

Information from third parties

Social or third-party login — if you choose to sign up or log in through another platform, we may receive basic profile information from that platform.

Payment processor — Stripe provides us confirmation and status of your transactions.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

Create and maintain your account and profile;

Operate our matching, messaging, and event features, including recommending compatible members;

Process membership and event payments through our payment processor;

Organize, manage, and improve TGT events and partner experiences;

Communicate with you about your account, matches, events, and updates;

Provide customer support and respond to your requests;

Keep the Service safe — detecting and preventing fraud, abuse, and violations of our Terms;

Improve and develop the Service; and

Comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.

4. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information for money. We share information only as described below:

With other members — your public profile and the content you choose to share are visible to other members, consistent with your privacy settings.

With service providers — companies that help us operate the Service, such as hosting, email delivery, analytics, and payment processing (including Stripe). They may only use your information to perform services for us.

With event and merchant partners — when you choose to RSVP to, purchase, or participate in a partner event or offering, we may share information necessary to fulfill that request (for example, your name for an event guest list). We share only what is reasonably needed for the experience you signed up for.

For legal and safety reasons — to comply with law, respond to lawful requests, enforce our Terms, or protect the rights, property, or safety of TGT, our members, or others.

In a business transfer — if TGT is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

5. Cookies and Tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you logged in, remember preferences, understand how the Service is used, and support marketing. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though some features may not work properly if you disable them.

6. Your Choices and Rights

You can:

Access and update most of your information directly in your account settings;

Adjust your profile visibility and privacy settings;

Close your account at any time; and

Contact us at TGT@togetogether.com to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable privacy laws. We will honor those rights as required by law. To make a request, contact us at TGT@togetogether.com.

7. Data Retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service. After you close your account, we may retain certain information as necessary to comply with legal obligations (such as tax and transaction records), resolve disputes, prevent fraud and abuse, and enforce our agreements.

8. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please protect your password and use caution when sharing personal details with other members.

9. Third-Party Links and Services

The Service may link to third-party websites, partners, or services. We are not responsible for their privacy practices. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third party you interact with.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
